We offer large level bays, grassed some with concrete slabs and with shade, our sites do not flood and are not muddy in the Wet Season, rates for Singles, Doggy Daycare, Camp Fires permitted, Communal Campfire with happy hour every night May to October, entertainment in our Amphitheatre, clean fresh amenities, disabled facilities and no sandflies. All travellers, families and pets large and small are warmly welcomed. We look forward to being part of your sojourn through this magnificent area.
We love telling the story of the Reef!
It all started in July 2014 when the Caravan Park – formerly known as Discovery Coast Caravan and Camping Park changed ownership and management. With this change came a new name - The Reef Caravan Park. Bill and Leigh moved from Western Australia to Agnes Water to begin a new chapter in their lives and try and create a Friendly, Welcoming Caravan Park where people have a name not a number.
Over the years we have planted in excess of 3,000 trees and plants and have also created a rainforest full of interesting bushtucker trees and plants, Bill is happy to give you a guided tour. Leigh’s obsession with Hibiscus is seen all over the Park. We try to keep the exciting flora and fauna around us as natural as we can and are especially proud of the abundant birdlife.
Bills love of music lead him to build an Amphitheatre which is used for visiting Musicians and Entertainers.
At The Reef we aim to provide clean, friendly and affordable Caravan and Camping Sites with professional and great customer service from people who really care for what they do.
You can find the Caravan Park on the spectacular Central Coast of QLD, between Bundaberg and Gladstone. Just a short drive from magnificent beaches, gorgeous blue bays for surfing, fishing, and long walks. Our beautiful trees and bush give privacy and shade to campsites and the wildlife here is amazing.
